Which Tang

I have a 4 ft 370 litres total tank, so I believe I can only keep 1 tank in there.

i like the Regal, but I believe the Yellow is easier to keep.

Any advice on what I should go for? Do they both get Whitespot easily?

No reason why you cant keep both of them and another one if you look at the third being from the acanthurus family

I have read that Tangs could be bitchy towards other tangs. Would it be better to get 2 smallish ones at the same time? (Regal & Yellow)

Size doesnt make a huge difference if the same size its more about spreading the species count than shear size.

Hey meneer, I had 5 TANGS in der, problem free, jus start with small 1, then each tang after that u buy little bigger than previous 1.... Wats happening with your skimmer MenEer, did u upgrade yet?

Yes upgraded to the Aqualab with 2000 Octopus needle-wheel - had 1,5 inch of VERY dark/green/black/smelly gunk in there this week. :yeahdude:

Hey Meneer,

I have 3 tangs in my 4 foot, and considering one more, now that I have a slightly deeper 4 foot (went from 45cm deep to 60cm deep). My Tangs all grew up together, Regal tangs was smaller then my clown fish (like 3cm) when I got her. They do give each other a bit of a go from time to time, but generally are great pals! Call them the 3 Amigos as they are always very close to each other...trying to make sure that they out do one another in whatever!! I would try get them smaller and let them grow up together is the best advice I can give you, but you should not have any problems with just 2!

A yellow tang and a regal tang will be fine together.
