Yip, chromis love the top and are very active. They also help to make shy fish feel more comfortable :)

In your size tank, get 10 green/blue Chromises. They will be the life of the party!
Just remember that they do jump! Get some egg crate to cover your tanks top!

They jump? Never knew that :whistling: .. Lol in the morning maybe ill find some dry fish on the floor :p

A chromis really has to be in a bad place for it to jump lol.. They probably shoot themselves in the head as they jump out haha

different fish swim in different parts of the tank as the guys mentioned:
chromis and anthias open water towards the top.
tangs all over mostly graze the rocks
angels inbetween the rocks

for a start, fish swim in water :p lol sorry it's late...

Agree with Z, I remember seeing a nice chart once that showed what fish swam at what levels in the tank. Like mid water, bottom dwellers etc...was intersting, but for the life of me I cant remember where I saw it.

Somthing I have noticed is that some of my fish swim at difrent hights in difrent conditions like my thorn fish swim at mid to top of the tank during the day but stick to the botom at night or when the water is derty like if you stir up the gravel.
