When your tank crashes the question should always be"who was the driver?"

A bonsai student went to his master after months of training and proclaimed tearfully, "Master my tree has died"

The Master did not even look up from his maintenance routine and dismissed the student.

The student spent the day questioning his masters response, considering what should he do next to get a response and how would he occupy the remaining 2 years of his training without a tree.

The next day the student returned to his master and once again proclaimed with a calm and even tone, "Master my tree has died."

The Master not even look up from tending to the sand and moss at the base of his tree dismissing the student.

This continued for for just over 2 weeks and was by now a daily routine witnessed by all the other students. Till finally the student after some considerable introspection walked up to his master and announced, "Master, forgive me. I have killed my tree."

To which the master stopped what he was doing, looked into the students eyes and said. "Congratulations, the tree can not kill its self, it has a uncontrollable desire to live and will do everything it can to do so. It is your job to ensure it does."

Or the product which was used without reading the instructions or working out the correct water volume (LR displaces a lot of water)

I have had a tank wipe with flake fish food

I even had taken it to Dorry pets and tested it on a scopas that was a year in the shop and it also killed it with one feeding

    yes products are not infallible...

so based on everyone comments above, can never blame the product?

coz there is a lot who do but never follow the instructions, RTFM

Its one thing when a product kills some livestock, but another when a faulty pump nearly electrocutes you top death...
I will never blame anything on a petstore as the responsibility always remains that of the reefer to research the product / method before purchasing. They are simply trying to make a living by selling a bunch of manufacturers products...

So to conclude, some drivers can't see the potholes in the road and can't be blamed for everthing.

    Good Topic .....

Maintanance is key, if your tank is healthy its happy and happy never crashes,YET .... Certain times and I quote "we sometime miss the occational pothole" ..... But its how you handle afterwards that determines the fate ...

And if I may, with no intentional direction @ any1 ....tho some may relate ....."Never skimp in marines,as surely the end will be drawn closer".....
