Found this transparent tube pumping out what looks like smoke. What is it and could it be bad?

I don't know what it is, but it is probably just expelling it's waste. Have them in my tank as well. Think it is just a worm of sorts.

Chances are that is worm spawn, or something similar, i saw it first when a stomatella squirted sperm/eggs into the water column, i would say it's more than likely good stuff whatever it was
