Hi All, my mom Is a montessorri teacher, kids aged between 4 and 7 years old.

She has setup a small 20 litre tank in her class on her desk, with a HOB filter, and an LED light that should suffice for any LPS or soft coral.

The purpose of this tank is for the children to explore and learn, so it needs to contain something that will interest children very much, something they can look at with a magnifying glass and so on.

tank will have 2kg of live rock in it, and maybe some live sand, certainly too small for a fish but could a shrimp be housed In this tank?

main question: what would be a nice coral for this tank, a coral that will fascinate children, something with 'personality'.

    Thanks

Ricordeas with the different colors should keep them happy.

Just the price that could be issue.

Sexy shrimp. Hermit crab with few shells so they can see how they change into new homes and molt their skin etc.
A nice moving coral xenia and couple mushrooms as they would split etc.
