    Took some flash pics in the pitch black a couple of hours after lights out last night.

    I then saw this in the one pic, I thought it was some sort of trilobyte fossil embedded in the LR, however when I checked again this morning it was gone.

    WHAT IS IT AND HOW DO I KILL IT!? :eek:

    (just kidding)

    If it's a baddie though I wanna get rid of it.

    It looks like a chiton. They are algae grazers and are reef safe...

    Maybe a chiton?

    I don't think they are bad, but google and decide for yourself.

    Not far off.

    Chitons have a relatively good fossil record, stretching back 400 million years[2] to the Devonian. Before this, some organisms have been interpreted (tentatively) as stem-group polyplacophora; the record of polyplacophora stretches back to the Ordovician.[22]

    The one on the wiki article is gorgeous - I wouldn't mind having one of those!
