so it's time to update the thread with the new details of the new system that i bought.
the tank is 1.7meters long by 1.1meters wide by 0.4meters high. so a good size aquarium. I bought the tank and stand from my Local pet store that was closing down.
after cleaning it up, and removing a piece of glass dividing the middle we hired a trolling to move the thing.

    The System:
    TS 2 skimmer
    2x 5000l uplift pumps
    12X t5 globes(3 units)
    2x flow pumps
    2x jager heaters
    display volume is 750L
    total volume 900L

Looks great! Like the simplistic scaping.

Just a question, does it provide sufficient hiding places for all the fish?

    Looking good.

Put a piece of black ABS sheet behind the tank. will hide the wall and give it a lot better look.

I would go for it, will give you much better spread because your tank is quite wide. It will have to be lifted high to spread to the back and will be much better then a 150w. I say run for the 250w.
Its better to have stronger light then weak if you want to keep sps happy can always run on short intervals.

Interesting tank... I love shallow reef tanks.
I personally think there is lack of shallow reefs on masa compared to other forums in the states.
Only you & carlosdeandrade & a handfull of others...
Keep up the good work bud!

    Just one question though.
Is that tank standing on a real wooden floor or is it only cladded concrete floor?

Laminated flooring not real wood, thats to expensive when you have a leak
