Hi guys..i need to know what size pump you guys run on the reactors..i tried to use a fluidised bed filter for bio pellets which was to be powered by an eheim compact 2000 pump (2000 litres per hour) but its not even moving the pellets and im frustrated as I thought it would be enough.

I have another Reef octo phosphate reactor which I could modify but the pump is even smaller so doubt it will work

It depends 100% on the amount of pellets and the size/shape of the reactor.

Best bet is get a strong enough pump and t-off a split with a valve on it to play around with the flow till u get the sweet spot.

I run a 3500L waveline pump on my bio pellet reactor. I have the reef octo 110 reactor. I went for a DC pump as I thought if there was too much flow I could turn it down a bit. So far it has run on 100% constantly. I tried using my two little fishies reactor but you cannot get enough flow through it to keep the pellets in suspension.

There a some youtube videos showing how to slightly modify your two little fishes Phoban150 reactor to use it for Bio Pellets. Looks simple enough.

What I deem a good tumble, our makeshift from an MBF300, using the MS pellets - works a treat:
