    Hi All,

I am starting up my 250l (DT) system and want to get some opinions on what salt. I will mostly be keeping LPS and soft corals, no sps for the time being but maybe at a later stage.

I have been using Red Sea Coral Pro and change to the normal Red Sea due to no stock.

The prices have become a lot higher since and there are other salts out there which I think my be on the same level.

Would like to try the Aqua Medic or the Blue Treasure. What’s everyone’s take on those ?

    Or any other suggestions.

Who stocks Aqua Medic in JHB and has stock ?

Thoughts on Red Sea Coral Pro salt?

Saw an interesting comment on the container of the above salt. It said "DO NOT MIX for more than 4hrs"
Why would that be? Can you "over-mix" salt water and diminish some of its properties??
Depending on the power-head/pump you using, 4hrs may not be long enough to fully dissolve the salt.
