    Hi Warr - yeah - I am also one of them. NSW - get it at the 2 Oceans. No complaints from using it..... Reason: It's much mroe convenient (already mixed ;-), it's cheaper - I can get 400 litres per week, at R130 per year. (400 litres x 52 weeks = 20800 litres).
    I live 20 km's away from the 2 Oceans - thus: 40 km's @ R2.72 (I think that this is the current going rate the government works on when calculating fuel refunds) = R110. Multiplied by once a month (12x) = R1320 + R130 = R1450 / 12 = R120 per month....

    OK now that I have cleared that up for myself - I wonder how much salt would cost me? How much does your salt work out for you per month?? I would LOVE to know.

    Please include the cost for actually going to buy the salt as well.

    Reef crystals, my lfs uses them and reckons them to be as good as any other for the price

    but in the tank NSW and if the water is dirty i use Rio Real Ocean

    Will work out to about R60/Liter for me :lol:

    Used to use Tropic Marine Pro Reef, but switched to Rio Real Ocean. No noticeable difference at about half the price.
