What is this

    Hey everyone

    I noticed 2 weeks back plenty of white cocoon like stuff all over my tank probably 50 or so,cant get a proper picture taken to upload for you guys,anyone know this stuff?

    In lenght about 5mm to the big one about 10mm long and the diameter from say 3mm to 5mm(more or less),at the top it looks like there is an opening,hope it helps.

    Don't you have a pic of this Chris? It could be a sponge.... but can never say without a picture.....

    Do a search for sycon sponges or feather duster worms, if not, possibly spirobid or vermatid worms, very difficult to ID without a piccy.

    Chris - those are small sponges..... I have/had hundreds of them in my 2 tanks...

    I'm sure they are called sycon sponges
