what is this?

    initially it was thought to be a Zoa, however due to the lack of colour compared to other zoas growing in the tank (frags as well as zoas growing from LR) i'm convinced this might be something else.

    also, check out the edge of the disk portion, not very zoa like at all

    looks like a bleached zoa, you have other polyps on the same rock that look to be closed.

    thanks, the shape of it though isnt anything like regular zoas?
    its much larger, flatter and the "lashes" at the edge are very very fine. mindblowing palyp perhaps?
