    Hi guys...chipped this off a sps coral plug I got..its an interesting piece. .has a dark blue/black colour..any ideas?

    Looks like an encrusting monti perhaps

    I don't think it's an encrusting monti...The polyps are sunken into the flesh if u know what I mean..kinda like a gonipora that's closed up...normally with encrusting montis the polyps stand out from the base

    i have lots of it , comes on LR sometimes high light and high flow will make it extend its polyps then it almost looks fury
