    Hi

This appeared in a refugium and mu8st have hatched there.

What is it? (I know snail ;) )

Interesting = the foot part is really sturdy and it is stuck tightly to the glass when I attempted to remove it. It is fast and do not mind partially leaving the water. Size R5 coin plus a bit.

Looks like a cowrie of some sort. Does it have a shell, hard to tell.

I'd say abalone. Can you get a pic of the shell?

I do not see a shell but the body is hard - as if there is a shell berried in the flesh.
I touched and disturbed it to see if it close and did not, so thought the cowry option was not on the table. Am I correct?

The foot looks like a chiton. Plus as mention, it is tightly stuck on the glass is something chitons will be able to do.

But from the top it looks more like some sort of flatworm. Chitons normally have the 8 plates visible.

Since this one can come from any place in the world, where corals where brought in from, it is difficult to ID just by the pictures.

Might be a juvenile sea hare from the looks of it. Aplysia. (Sea slugs)

Its like a stomatella with frills instead of a shell (or its shell is covered with the frill) or an elephant slug

Yep. Scutus unguis to be exact. Keyhole limpet without the keyhole. Very common under rocks here.
