what is this?

    hi

    what are these sticks kinda things coming out of my substrate in my dt?

    its on my left side of the tank, where its brown i cant get that side so clean like the other side. what fish could i get to clean that side?

    heres pics of the sticky things.

    Looks like tube worms forming with your substrate, I have lots

    malooda, you can get a sandsifter gobie, i have two in my tank and they clean everywhere. Don't know what those things are.

    What comes out of the structure, a feather/fan like protrusion or a thin worm like protrusion. If its a thin worm like thingie then its a spaghetti worm and harmless or else its a feather duster worm if its fan like. If nothing comes out then I have no idea

    I've got similar tubes in my nano forming in the substrate. Have seen hair (or spaghetti?) worms come out at night. A Sand Dollar might help?
