Doing deep clean on sump ext and found tons of these things attached to sump glass and even in skimmer, looks like mini featherdusters but really have no clue.

Anyone with any info please advise, good or bad and what to do...

    Thanks

It's only tunicates and squirts, etc - no need to worry, they good water filters and grows in dark places free from predation. I moved your thread to the ID section as it is not an emergency ;)

Try not too remove or kill them. I only used to siphon the bottom of the sump at the skimmer section and return side if detritus accumulated. I never cleaned the sides as they were full of those tunicates, squirts, feather dusters, etc.

Its a calcerous sponge. Harmless filter feeder and a sign of good water quality
