what is on my zoas

    please could someone tell me what is on my Zoe's its a slug like thing with soft spikes everywhere they have 2 tentacles and are moving. good or bad

    sorry for pictures but these guys are pretty small

    not too long, give the rock a shake while in the RO until you see those buggers fall off...

    Wait hang on, those look more like palys to me, never seen a paly eating nudi. Was this taking in daytime? Zoa nudis are never out in daytime

    These are nasty critters. Till now people have only found them after lights out. They have no confirmed predators as far as i know (and no, wrasses dont work either) and can be a real #@$$%@ to get rid of

    If u have zoas that dont open nicely, its a good bet they are infected. Like the guys said a freshwater dip is best. The problem is these guys lay eggs on the zoas which u cant get rid of with a dip, u need to manually remove it. Here is a pic of the egg sacks
