What is growing on the doughnut?

    Jip - Mike is 100% correct. It is indeed a sponge. Should be harmless to the doughnut coral. But, do keep it under a watchful eye. It might start irritating the doughnut coral if the sponge grows too big.....

    But for now - leave it be.
