What I did this weekend

Thought I'll share this with you guys. Weather was bad this past weekend so I decided to take a drive up the beach to fish from the surf. Caught this guy and unfortunately could not put him back as the taxman got hold of him while I was fighting him.

He still weighed in at 33kg. Nice Kob though. Pity he did not make it

Sorry, the white tip on my nose was apiece of Hotdog as I was eating when the Salmon decided to take my bait. Only saw it afterwards

Caught a big Shad, about 2kg. My buddy refused to let me cut it, Eventually gave it back to me and I used the Belly. Not 10 minutes later and the game was on. Also caught a smaller salmon prior to this one, but had no idea that the next on was gonna be 30kg bigger

This was weighed 04 hours later at our local skiboat club. New club record for this season. I was told that this fish looses 10% of his weight due to moisture and fluids draining, so, still a nice fish though.
