    Guys,

I need some suggestions on what fish to get next.

I have a 1mx0.5mx0.5m tank. Total volume including the sump is about 300litres

I currently have the following in my tank (all small):
    2 x percular clowns
    1 x midas blennie
    3 x chromis (blue)

What other livestock can i add to this mix? Fish that are generally easy to take care of and not too fussy eaters (i have had some fussy eaters die on me). You suggestions will be most appreciated.

Did you manage to get your Midas? Are the two (midas and lawnmower) getting along?

Is the lawnmower munching on any algae?

Thats what i am looking for.

I had a firefish, he went carpet swimming, i suspect the blenny was giving him grief.

    Thoughts on a royal gramma?

hmmm i think a royal would be a little agro in a small tank, but i may be wrong.

also one firefish is not a good idea, they need a group...and a lid! :)

I had a lid, but i upgraded the lights, so now its open top. How big a group do these firefish need to be in?

I presume anthias require a group too right?

3-4 firefish would be awesum :)

id skip the anthias as you alreday have chromis in that zone.

instead of fish, whats about getting some crustacean? some shrimps or the like, do you have many?

I had a cleaner shrimp, but i just couldnt get it to eat, eventually died. My current tank mates have been around since November/December 2008, i just havent had luck with anything i have added ever since (except my turbo snail - going strong).

hmmm sorry to hear that, especially as the tanks should be maturing nicely now.

id look at some fire shrimp, or even some high tailed shrimp if they are available in SA.

and a Boxing shrimp, do you like the look of them, he could be a nice addition?

No, no and again no. The tank is to small for even one tang unless you have somewhere to put them when they grow.

:nono: Your tank is way too small for a tang, let alone 2. Tangs get big and need a lot of swimming space and can be very teritorial. Not a good idea in my opinion.

you've got blue, grey and orange fish, so I would get a purple or red fishfish. Or a small bi-colour angel (maybe a bit big), coral beauty are always nice and easy. Bannana wrasse??
