Sherbit dude you need to have seen who laid them, who was hanging around at the time. Fish or snail etc.

My one bi-color blenny was around the spot, I see that there is a few eggs missing so I am not sure if he helped himself to some eggs

There are no snails near that part of the tank, not ever. This is right at the top of the tank

why dont you try and block off the eggs with something so no other fish can come near it and have a meal
