Hi, Does anyone perhaps know the common name of the three branch coral in the foreground. A scientific name would also be great. It is about 6cm from the base to the top. The fleshy part is almost pure white with a very small mouth.
    Thanks

    Achilles, thanks for the reply!
I picked up the frag at LFS about two weeks ago and thought it was a light coloured variety. ALL my other corals are doing well and water conditions are within range. When you say it is bleached are you referring to it being exposed to high temps?

Any specific advice to aid its recovery?

Definately a sad candy cane. The reasons for bleaching are numerous like extensive power failures, poor water conditions, a sudden and drastic increase in light etc. Time and good water conditions should set it on the right track as they are quiet hardy corals
