hey guys, i have tried a few kinds of carbon in my reactor, but i don't really know which brand is the best to use.

Some or maybe all will leak phos into tank?
Is a finer partical size(0.2mm-0.5mm) better than a bigger particle size((1cm)?

What is the best carbon for the cheapest price( because one need to change it every 2-3 weeks, and R200-R400 per month for carbon is a bit steep for me)

Hope this will help everyone:thumbup:

The Waterboy Maxizorb carbon.Eco Aquatics stocks.very cheap and excellent results,i personally wont use any other brand now

Lanzo,

Mek, can you remember what the price is for the 3KG. I want to sell mine but not sure what to ask for it.

Yes Lanzo,

It is quite fine.

I have about 2.5KG left. If you want it you can have it for R100.

Thanks Lanzo. I'm short as well, spending my last penny's...
