    Yep the peregrine falcon is the fastest animal on earth, but only in a dive, what is the fastest animal(it's a bird) in level flight?:p

    I seem to remember the spine tailed swift as being the fastest. Maybe something faster though.

    Yep, it's the spine tailed swift, the world's fastest bird in level flight.

    great vid, thanks for sharing :)

    i ve seen two wild perigrin kills while hunting rock pigeons in the eastern freestate. they used to stay high over the field and if a bird was winged would swoop to finish it off. its a sight that leaves one breathless

    ive heard that one before, takes things to new heights:) but i think it was aided by the updrafts from a jet or something????

    answer is: Highest flying bird.

    That the one that flies really really high with it's prey and then drops it? (Like tortoises etc)
