What Black silicone to use?

Hi all. I see that my builders sells Den Braven Black silicone, however the product is the 1001 silicone universal, And not the aqua silicone. So is that silicone safe to use? ill send a pic of it.

According to their website its used to seal window and door frames.

It is such a struggle to find marine black silicone

Always been a problem. Every now and again you will get lucky and someone on the forum will have spare tubes. Otherwise you can go to Den Braven and buy a box... Lol

Watched some videos on YouTube and those guys use 100% silicone. It's cheaper than the aquarium save silicone. As long as the silicone doesn't contain any fungisites or anti mold agent. But I would still be cautious. Not sure if this 1001 is save or not. Can't really see on the website.

I saw those videos but i would rather be safe than sorry, I am refurbishing a frag tank, and for the look i want, wanted the sleek black silicone seals, I'll have a look around but impatience will probably lead me to use Bostik clear. I have heard that glue devils marine silicone just falls apart after a while.
