Hey guys can someone please help me to positively ID this nem?

The guy at the store said it was some kind of bubble tip. I google and found that there is a bubble tip like this one but also get the magnificent nem that looks like this.

my clown started hosting in it yesterday and this morning its changed to like a pale orangish colour. as if it has no slime on its body. I know they need to adapt, but it this normal?

It looks like a magnifica to me or possibly a sebae. Leaning towards magnifica. You probably shouldnt buy things that you have not researched on, it can lead to bad mistakes. A magnifica needs more care+lighting than a BTA.

Lol, yep. Well actually read up on both. Seems to be doing very well under normal t5s so that's also making me doubt that it's a magnificent. The lfs had this guy for 3 months. Saw him there in that time, and grew a little. The lighting in the store was bad though

It's a light Brown colour. Similar to the color of the tentacles. But looks leathery. Don't think I have a pic of the base on my phone and at work now.

Also think its a heteractis magnifica anemone. They come in lots of different colors from tan - pink - purple - yellow or green bases or tentacles... & sometines the bases are purple & the tentacles are light green...
Its definitely not a bubble tip anemone...
Magnifica anemones need LOTS of light & you should keep a close eye on it for at least the first few weeks to see how its doing...
IMO, magnifica anemones should stay in the ocean! They can be kept in captivity, but their survival rate isnt very high!
