wrasse's,goldies, chromis are awsome fish to keep in a 4ft tank.i remember having 26 fish in my old 4ft setup at one stage.this did however require proper husbandry.keep in mind, this tank had no sump, just a hangon skimmer and 2 canisters with LR in it. the goldies also spawned in the tank.

That is awesome, what it look like to see them spawn ?
just looked into the tank and found babies that were under a cm,which means the spawned a long time ago and the fry were probably hiding under the rockwork.but none survived. The other fish in the tank made a meal of them.

was looking at adding a powder blue tang and a flame angel but not too sure if the tang will be reef safe and for the flame angel dont know if the flame and the coral beauty will get along. What do you guys think

Powder Blue is reef safe, but is quite aggressive, especially to other tangs.

I have been wanting to get a Flame for ages, but too scared to, because I have a fully grown Beauty. Alot of money to experiment with :p

But it can be done, there are loads of reefers that have multiple dwarf angels.

The one and only time I lost a PB was due to a power failure. With this being a very active fish, to died because of oxygen starvation.

They are also prone to getting whitespot if you look at them skeef. ;)

Rather go Powder Brown if you think you can handle their whitespot problems.

Have you had experiences with Tangs ?

If not why not start with a Hippo

i would say stay away from the PB in a 4 ft tank.these guys are aggressive and will cause havoc in a small enviroment.rather go for a YT or Scopas tang.
flame angel is an awsome fish to get!redo a bit of your aquascping the same day you get your flame.this will confuse the coral beauty a bit.also make sure there are enough caves for the Angels to swim in and out off.
