Its more tricky to get different types but there are. There is also Red Gracilaria Algae. Its hard to get but its a nice food source and looks different. I have some but its really too small to cut any. Just got it as a hitch hiker

Bryan at jungle aquatics had a macro algae that looked like long grass. Think that would be nice for what you want. Maybe ask him if he can get more

In the rockpools at KZN there are a few amazing colors and morphs of algae, problem is getting it to you and I've never had macro traveling well.

I have a fair number of interesting macros, all growing reasonably well.

    1. Big leafed Halimeda sp. and some less successful/slower small ones
    2. Caulerpa racemosa-type, big and small "grapes" and also "string of grapes"
    3. Caulerpa sertularoides
    4. Chaetomorpha linum
    5. Acanthophora spicifera
    6. "Goldilocks" pot scourer shaped red algae
    7. Caulerpa brachypus (mini prolifera)

Here's a bunch I sent to someone recently:

Are you 100% sure it's a Gracilaria? I'm very keen to get some.
