Reef Adict
There I was @ 5pm trying to find my white faced surgen and I saw its tail sticking out of a smallish hole in LR. It wasn't moving I used my tank claws and touched it - still little movement , so I clamped it's tail to see and it was stuck & still no movement so I predicted it was dead and pulling quite hard it came loose well the I saw it, fighting to grab the three quarter fish - a monster hairy cream colored crab.
Well after trying to bait it with prawn & the dead fish For about 2 hours I moved 2 or so rocks , still trying to bait it cause it creeps into caves a crevases etc and it's very shy and clever, I all of the sudden hear my girlfriend Paula say "Ooh my God" (she was assiting) I sh@ myself and said in a panic "What what" and she said look there - and to my amazement I saw one of the cutetest little things - my Bangai Cardinal's have had babies and there all on its own was a baby with dad on the other side of the tank with a big full mouth - AMAZING !!!
The crab WILL still have it's sentence in the sump but I gave up @ 11-45pm.
