We now have the new SEIO Surge & Wave pumps in stock. The SEIO Surge Pump has a built-in 4-stage flow pattern which cycles the pump's strength at various intervals (alternating from low to high) with it's built-in electronics. It's simply plug and play. It's the first ever pump in the aquarium industry to offer natural alternating currents without the use of controllers or transformers. The first available model is the 10K with a maximum flor rate of 10,800l/h.

Hi irie ivan. Prices will vary but will probably be around the R996 (incl. VAT) region.

Saw them, very nice, which it better be, hav been waiting for yonks for these babies! Lets just hope they in the same league of the seio glow pumps and not in the polario league!!
I have not found any vids on the Surge pumps... From what I read the surge ones are very similar to the resun wavers from years gone by..
Just a matter of how wide the flow on the wave and surge pumps are.. Hope a shop will have some in a tank for us to see...

I didn't see it mentioned , but for a few hundred more you can get the model that comes with the remote...
So you can sit on your couch and change the tides :)

Might have to put one of those on the sps tank as a tester:p

All electrical products carry a 1-year warranty.

    Manufacturer claims around 13,000l/h

I doubt that will be the case this time around. The Polario controllers were the main culprit with the fuses blowing & the fans bombing out. The wave units will not have these components. We discontinued the Polario years ago - the ones that worked were great and people loved them, but the problem ones cost us quite a bit on replacing parts.

Just hooked one up. The flow is more narrow like the prop pumps & tunze streams. They'll be good for longer tanks. The flow pattern nowhere near as wide as the vortech pumps.
