Thanks for getting a pic of the hitch hikers! I also have one of the clingie one in top pic and a couple of the ones in the bottom pic. Just haven't been able to get a decent pic of them. So i am tagging along on this one!

I also have 2 mantis shrimp which came with my live rock which took me a while to catch.

First looks like a anemone crab, but not sure without seeing the whole crab, but the colouring screams predator.

The last pic looks like a pompom crab

It doesnt make sense to filter feed and be a predator at the same time? Are they bad in DT to other organisms?

the hermit is a Blue Eyed Hermit, Calcinus Laevimanus
grow up to 30mm, when smaller at 20mm they are ok, some guys think the big ones are not reef safe with that one bigger claw. My issue with the bigger ones are that they can knock smaller rocks and frags down. But he should be fine. No problem.

The one with the fans looks like a filter feeder. Like a porcelain crab. Then they are ok, actually a very interesting hitchhiker. If you do not want it, I take him. First dibs...

Last one, not sure, better pic can help.

Heehehhe, I sit nights away with my blue or red torch to try and spot them! All i ever see is lots and lots of pods and worms. I read porcelain crabs are cool in any setup?

I had a mutant bugger in my tank that I never knew existed till I found his remains. I never had any losses from the guy. Here's a pic. The second one is definately a filter feeder[IMG]
