    Buddy of mine sez i can have some of his bullet proof glass, so i wanted to build a nano. Is there another way of cutting it Leslie?

    Do you stay in a bad area of Guateng that you wanna use BP glass? :whistling:

    Lol.. I don't complain about free glass, even if it's BP...

    I know what you mean bud, I too can get my hands on some big pieces, 3m x 1m, but at 40mm think its a bit heavy.

    Convince your goverment to let you build a awesome, massive in wall tank:p
    Why cut the glass, just cut the hole in the wall bigger;)

    I thought about the weight .. hence the nano idea..
    Plus the pieces he's got aren't that big, so trying to squeeze the biggest tank out of 1 or 2 pieces is a mission..
    Think BP glass that you find at the bank tellers..

    I think Justin has tried very hard to convince his better half to allow him to build a big tank in their house. The thought of knocking a huge hole into the house wall did freak her out a little.:(

    Do the glass not have that green tint?

    i know it can be done.
    just wonder if it'll be too expensive (i.e. cutting glas would cost more than making 1 instead)

    I visited a place once called Aquajet (if I remember correctly :p)

    They told me they can cut anything with water except a diamond as no one are willing to give them a diamond to try :p
    I saw the machine in action, awesome, it even cuts tungsten and was accurate to 0.03mm if I'm not mistaken. It has a big flat bed with a robotic arm doing the cutting according to a sketch scanned by the attached pc system.
    It might cost you a bit though, but no harm in trying to get a quote.
