depends totally on your budget, if you have some bucks to spend, vortech mp10 is the king i reckon, will cost around 2grand
otherwise use what i use, 3000Litre/Hour SUNSUN pump, cost = R90

Thanx Nadeem, yeah bucks to spend will rather be in the region of about R200, not 2grand. I do have a bar looking flow thingy majingy (lol) that does seem to work i think it comes standard with the Boyo but just think a powerhead will do a better job. I also have a small wave maker in there, but again not too sure if all will work well with what it's getting at the moment. Gman will have to come see and advise me accordingly i think..... (let me use the men......giggle)

I had 2 seio prop 320's in my tl550, they work well. Rather get 2 smaller ones than one large flow one. 2 smaller ones allow you to direct the flow more easily in the tank, in my opinion :)

Agree with NickW...get 2 smaller pumps....I am running 2 small 2000l/hr Resun units....they are super small and work great....apart from starting in reverse sometimes after power failure....lol
