Hi Who's got peppermint shrimps available in CT? Need to fight an aptasia infestation.

Peppermint Shrimps are fairly rare these days :(

I have been looking for two months already and none of the LFS up here in Johannesburg have had any

You might have a better chance getting a Bristletail filefish...:005:..I believe you could sit with one that Doesn't eat Aptasia..of cause...a person has to make sure that they actually have the correct Filefish..:p..maybe just do the "lemon juice" thingy to get rid of Aptasia instead of introducing a new Tankmate purely to sort out you'r infestation...

Do these file fish eat coral, and how readily are they available?

This is from the Link I posted under the Photo...
This is also why I say..make sure it is a Bristle-tail...
I really don't think they are easily available...
I do know that some of the guys on MASA do have Bristle-tails in their Tanks...even maybe ask a Sponsor...as this Article wouldn't classify them as Reef Safe..:p..maybe a Member or Sponsor could help you in finding out how "safe" they are...
