Funny @carlosdeandrade has the same one and it never splits either.
I started with 2 and had 7 in just a few weeks.

You guys keep the water to clean.

no, their problem is that they leave it alone. Put your hand in the tank and smack it a bit - i've read that this makes it feel threatened so it splits.

now who's brave enough to try it?
 
I have also seen that they tend to multiply if exposed to air for a bit, but let's see if your technique works :)
 
Most corals just recoil if touched. He actually looked like fighting back :)
 
I will try the same with mine and see his reaction. .will report back...
 
What if you use the method by cutting it. Like they split anemone, won't it work. Majano is hardy than anemone. Do you think it is to risky to use this method ?
 
Read a thread by a guy and he got his to split by feeding it.
I am not sure if they will sure survive being cut, rather not kill it.

I never done it. And will never cut any thing. To make even frags. I mean all corals are alive. ( animals ) i just google to see what methods they use. I thought majono is to come buy and spread quick. Do they sting fish? Want to know more about them. Thanks.
