    Hey guys,

A mate is looking for a Juvenile Yellow tang, anyone got one up for sale?
He has an existing scopa tang, will the 2 be compatible?

    Depends on tank size.

    But they will fight.

I have a yellow and a scopas in a 700L. They do give each other a hard time. But 95% of the time there is no problem.

As was seen in the poll we had on MASA, a scopas is one of the most aggresive fish when it comes to territory

Scopas and Yellow - looking for trouble!

If he does do this, he will have to remove the scopas for a week or 2 , to get the Yellow to settle first.

Once the yellow is settled, and eating well, he can re-introduce the scopas, but they will fight! Up to date my 2 still nips and tail-slap each other ever so often.

As @Tobes mentioned, i first only introduced the yellow, and they almost killed him. we had to take out the yellow and quaranteen more, and only then, after about 2 weeks of getting him back to health again, and removing scopas did it work.

Jean's tank is bigger, closer to 1000 litres if I remember correctly with plenty hiding places, and they still pulled out the blades :p
