    Hi Andreas - perhaps you should be more specific? Are you talking about Metal Halide here? Or T5's?

    Metal Halide's have control gear (you get electronic or magnetic)..... T5's have balasts - electronic (mostly).....

    by the way Andreas.on your system i'll say 3*250W SE will be lekker.i was going to put 4 of those.or maybe 3-4 150W DE

    yeah true.i was gonna put 4*250W SE on my cube but the cost of electricty will come sky high,so had to go for 2 :(

    its fine if you run it for lets say 6 hours a day and then let the T5's do the job for the other 4-6 hours

    might just go for it,still contemplating.still got the other 2 spider reflectors and ballasts for them
