    Hi,

Wound this little dude dead in my tank yesterday morning, knew about him for a long while now but could never get a good shot of him cause he was nocturnal.

Well know he's for good , don't know what got the better of him?

Does anybody know if he was good or bad? never seemed to do any harm. 136649ec51d954d67.jpg 136649ec51ef673aa.jpg

Looks deadly that fella! Judging by the size of his pincers, he looks dangerous and a fish eater. Do you have any Triggers in tank could have ripped him apart? Also what was his size?

def a bad guy, lurker/ambusher, would have killed a few fish.

the real baddie to watch for are swimming crabs, The hind legs are flattened to assist in swimming and hunting

My take on anything in the tank that you did't put in there are harmless untill they start being harmfull.:p

That said, I leave nature to go it's course, untill I get p***** off and intervene...

Everthing has a role in the tank, and only once that role becomes a threat to my livestock do remove it. But my arrow crab always wants to steal the food I give to my nennie... must I take him out now? No way... You will always have a species clash in some way or the other, so leave all things. ONLY GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN...
