    Guys

I bought a MP40W on the forum, but the wetside needed replacement. It took quite a while to get a new wetside, but due to absolute brilliant service from on of the sponsors on the site, the couriers delivered the new wetside yesterday.

Eager to give it a test run this morning, I installed everything, I plugged in the powersupply, turned it on, the red light on the controller flashed a couple of seconds, then everything died.

The light on the powersupply still shows green, but nothing else happens.

    Any help? What now?

    Sanders

One thing I noticed on further investigation is that when I plug the powersupply into the controller, the light on the power supply turns to a dull flickering light instead of a constant bright green light.

It seems something is wrong? Is it the controller or power supply. Hope I didn't buy a broken controller, power supply is cheap to get another one. Any ideas? @RIAAN?

Hard to say, ecotech support site great, also download the manual as it has everything in it, probably a factory reset will help, also might be a loose connection inside the controller, easy to open and see

@dallasg thanks man, I didn't know whether I should open it, but if you say its easy, I'l do it and look for possible loose connection.

@Ikraam I'm good man, was just thinking about the nice meet last Saturday. It is the old controller (the rectangulat one with the ling led light, not the round one).

I think I need to come by you, because I just spend money on the new wetside and now nothings working. In the meantime you can get us that recipe sorted for the big mans tikka chicken. LOL

    I'll pm you.

    Cheers

Did you adjust the rubber on the dry side for the tight tank glass thickness?

Yes Riaan I did, the problem seems to me as if there is no power on the controller, the power supply seems to be fine. I tested on one of my other 24V pumps.
