    Greetings all.

I am in the process of setting up a 120l nano tank, no sump. It will have an in tank DSB, live rock and a hangon skimmer.

    Lighting will be 2 x 24w T5's and 3 x 39w T5's.

It will initially be setup with RO/DI water and Tropic Marin salt.

I am terribly undecided on what substrate to use, so until I decide on that the tank will just be an empty glass box, but I will post pics soon. :)

    Thanks guys.

    :yeahdude:
Yes, but it won't be my main tank, this is just something small to keep me busy until I move into my house then I can setup my main tank.

I had a quick look at one or two bags of that and it looked a bit coarse (sharp) and the grain size was fairly uneven, but I was rushing and didn't read exactly what the bags were, I will be going back today or tomorrow to spend some time and have a good proper look at what it all is. Is there a specific name/type that you would recommend?

Hey Aslam, this is just going to be a sort of 'temporary' setup for now so I don't want to go all-out on this tank, plus I don't have any experience with in-tank DSB's and sumpless tanks so this will also be a new learning experience for me.

Some boring pics, but at least it's black silicone :slayer:

It's a Jewel Lido 120. And I haven't cleaned the front glass yet, it's still full of sticker glue from the shop :p
