    Hi all

Was just wondering if any of you have or are connected to the vintage car scene?

My father has just bought a 1951 (E494A - I think) Ford Anglia and I was just wondering how many of you out there have similar type cars?

My neighbour is also building up a Ford Popular +- 1953 (same as the Anglia), but not stock, he's got a Rover 3.5l V8 with a Jag rear diff and suspension, should be pretty quick when finnish;)

So I can feel myself becoming very interest and concidering finding a car too:whistling:

I just sold my Anglia station wagon to the guys who work for me - very limited - engine was still sound but we couldn't get a starter for it and the only other thing gave me grief was brakes - it had drums all round:lol:

I'm coming down with 55 this weekend - If we turn the engine sideways it might just fit there - imagine this body tearing down the freeway with a 255kw v8 - just kidding - looks ultra cool - wanna start something like this maybe this year - unfortunately this side most are in running condition and the prices way out but will keep a lookout for unfinished projects and give you a tinkle!

Only vintage race cars. My grandfather was a well known race car driver. He had several cars that are still well known nearly 50 years later.
