Vertex Libra

    Just a word of warning - those waiting for the Vertex Libra dosing pump... I am taking mine back and will fight for a full refund as it is a P.O.S.

    It cannot maintain the vacuum seal in the tubing for more than 3-4 dosings (each an hour apart). If I am to vent the unit twice a day, I'd much rather dose manually once a day. Less work at a fraction of the price.

    Considering that it shipped in a thick expensive box but no instruction manual, I'd say this is the biggest ruse of the decade.

    Hi Likesfish

    The amount of testing Vertex do on there equipment before going to market is crazy.

    I would rather contact Vertex and see what they have to say before giving up on the product yet.

    Speak to Jamie he is extremely helpfull and i am 100% sure the problem will be sorted.

    We appreciate your input and regret to see you have had such an experience with our product.

    As I understand, you have purchased the unit in Canada. We have talked to our dealer in Canada, as the units delivered were for pre-stock, which were sent to them ahead of time, while awaiting the final manual and DVD. As you can see on our Youtube channel, we have made videos that will be burnt onto a DVD included with each unit! Apparently there was a miscommunication and a few units were sold. As you probably know no one has received the product outside of Canada.

    Yep I did not realise Vertex had a representative on these forums. I am seeing a tiny flicker of light at the end of the tunnel...

    Hi likesfish any issues with any vertex product and I want to know about it.

    If I cant help then I always message Jamie or Nicolas at Vertex.

    Hence they are looking into this problem now.

    TSR always take complaints or problems with regards to any vertex product as serious even if purchased overseas.

    We pride ourselves in the backup service we offer and this is only magnified by vertex's support .

    I must say I am much more impressed with the South African sponsors / suppliers way of dealing with this than the Canadian way... Ok so I have one vendor here from which I buy, but they did not think of emailing Vertex directly. For this I am grateful. Speaking with Nicolas @ Vertex...

    I think we are roughly in 30-40 forums activ in the moment world wide. There is this on big one we didn't be a sponsor... There are already so much of them....;) and we take care of all the other reefers all over the world.. Also we have a Facebook site with telephone umber, contact page and my email is roughly in a million post..:) if needed I can use the illumina and light the office in a way you can see it on all continents....:) lol hahahaha

    Great service form the manufacturer!

    Perhaps vertex need to look at this, as its their agents that hsould represent them and are their face to the public. One can simply not deal with all problems directly esspecially if you are an international manufacturer.



    Also the inbox product documentation is a issue that should be looked at. Even cheap chinese products come with instructions, and I am sure certain countries demand inbox and onbox safety instructions.... would not want some guy burning up his house because he didnt know how to use a product safely!

    can not agree enough! Service is key! if i was LikesFish , i would most defenitely be "turned" into loving the product for the mere fact that the support is so good!!

    If we (me and Vertex) can get this unit to work properly then yes, I will definitely be "turned".
