    Hi

Went Vermitid Snail Hunting as this bugger "stung" my pin cushion.I noticed the snails feeding web was continiously toching the pin cushion which reacted by withdrawing polyps .It has taken two weeks for the polyps to emerge and they seem a lot smaller than originally. Is this normal as I was under the impression that Vermitid snails were relatively harmless....needles to say Vermy no longer exists...RIP

They are considered relatively harmless, but if they are continuously smothering and irritating a coral then I would try and remove them, put it somewhere else in the tank or in the sump.
