This is what Global warming does. If someone still believe it is a myth, check out the 1st 02 pics. I downloaded the 1st pic from Google to see how it used to look:

The square actually floods often. As you will see from the pics the locals are prepared with their boots and all. Its their own stupidity to built a city at 0m sea level.

    Following is from wikipedia ...

"The Piazza San Marco is the lowest point in Venice, and as a result during the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acqua_Alta"]Acqua alta - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:Aqua_alta_venise_07.jpg" class="image"><img alt="" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/57/Aqua_alta_venise_07.jpg/250px-Aqua_alta_venise_07.jpg"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/thumb/5/57/Aqua_alta_venise_07.jpg/250px-Aqua_alta_venise_07.jpg[/ame] the "high water" from storm surges from the Adriatic, or even heavy rain, it is the first to flood. Water pouring into the drains in the Piazza runs directly into the Grand Canal. This is ideal during heavy rain, but during the acqua alta it has the reverse effect, with water from the canal surging up into the Square."

Yeah, nothing to do with global warming, just the occasional flood, happens all over the world. Global warming is a farce.

Ya Venice was on the list a few weeks back of the 7 cities of the world that will soon be under water... Mexico City, Manahattan, Bangkok and 3 others were also on the list.

Venice has been sinking for many years, not too much to do with global warming more to do with the way it was built.

Imagine that water had nice fish in it. Could have a 30000L reef in you living room. How awesome. Could even keep a shark.

Looks like that had a major storm, most of them look unprepared.

If my city was going under, i would have made a plan long before the water got so high.
but in any case,i still think global warming is a real threat in this world
