Vatso - NP reducing pellets

    Hi all

    I bought some NP Pellets yesterday & got them running in my reactor - had to put them in a filter bag as they kept escaping :)

    So I will take some pics tonight of the pellets & will give feed back on how they work

    Lekker, keep us posted.
    Pity about them escaping, did you try and fit some sponge to keep it inside? Can you post a pic of the reactor?
    Okay, can you take measurements of your NO3 and PO4 so that it can be bench marked and to check progress?

    You picture hungry monsters

    I am going to try find sponge & see if that stops them escaping :)

    here is what I have now & am running a 6520 Hailea pump which is 1000Lt an hour

    I will take reading tomorrow or tonight depends what time i get home

    tonight will be the base line test will test again in 2weeks I have diatoms so if it clears that up it will have worked

    Vatso I had the same problem with my fluidized bed filter as the N&P Pellets were lifting up to exit so I had to add a sponge to stop it.
