ushaka CREATURES through my lens

    I never really had the "urge" to go to Ushaka, untill this past weekend when my kids had a birthday party there. I really enjoyed the aquarium. Herewith some pics of "creatures"- I will post fish and coral pics in another thread- I saw and photographed.... In no particular order. It was really difficult to get descent shots as you are not allowed to use a flah (I think I did it three times in the big tanks):

    I just loved these Garden eels- or so they called. Quite amusing with the sand blowing etc

    Look like upside down jellys to me? Never seen a Nautilis on the substrate, only on rockfaces. Great pics!

    Dunno Riaan, but they were swimming "upside down"- well, to me it looked like it

    As a matter of interest, wrt the pic of the Amonite (spelling??)- I have one at home (fossil) that is about 2000 000 years old. When they did the expansion of the harbor berth, they dug some out at 30 meter depth. The one I have still looks fine, not much breakages etc:
