Hi Pet Stop customers & fellow reefers.

We started this morning to remove the old reef / coral “retail aquarium’s” filter and replace it with an updated version.

We are still going to rely heavily on live rock, good skimming (one is in-line and an additional one is in the sump) and a complete Calcium reactor But now we have space to add any of the following:
    • Additional skimmer if we want to test one
    • Any electronic monitor or controller system
    • Any reactor
    • And still there will be space for anything new that might arrive in the future or that we might want to test.:yeahdude:

The reactors we do intend to add are an OZONE reactor, nitrate reactor and a phosphate reactor. The ozone reactors chamber is already built and will be in action first. Then the other 2 will be connected after that.

This is what it looked like this morning – bare and un-attractive.

By this afternoon it looked much better

When this is finished we only need to add the calcium reactor and the in-line skimmer to complete stage 1.

Stage 2 will see the OZONE, nitrate and phosphate reactors in place and by the end of March we will be ready to thoroughly test any product.:1:

Jip - one of the easiest to adjust from dry skimming to wet I experienced in ages.
    AND
designed to be cleaned without breaking it by a heavy handed person like me :p

This is what it looked like this morning

What are you talking about? - that old "clunker" did a great job BUT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!

The clean look is the benchmark of all the upgrades we intend over the next few months.
