Unknown thread coming out of rock.

    I have these white threads with red bands coming out of one of my live rock. Does anybody know what these could be? When a crab crawls over one of them it contracts back into the rock.

    No it looks more like the spaghetti worm.

    Probably a spaghetti worm if like the picture posted, but have never seen them with red bands

    They have the Spaghetti Worm picture also and it looks like the picture you posted...
