    thanks, does it usually grow very fast as its almost doubled in size in the last few months and is getting a bit too big for the tank.

    is it a soft coral, or hard skeleton based?

    @dallasg, stupid question, how would i be able to tell it soft or hard skeleton.

    Ok so gonna have to get back to you on this 1, i will go home and confirm.

    its growing too big for the tank so looks like gonna have to sell or trade it for some other coral pretty soon.

    or perhaps if its possible to frag it

    Dallas - the cabbage coral has those spiricule thingys that are needle shaped, like some other leather corals do.

    Its a very funny coral as it almost dies in a SPS geared tank but grows like a weed in tanks where nutrients aren't so strictly, umm....controlled....
