Undrgravel Filter

    Why am I the only one who uses a reverse undergravel filter? Am I Bad? :eek:

    For me, I'm using real sea sand as substrate. Very fine, too small to be used with under gravel filter. Even with a mesh in place.

    Undergravel filter would look strange in my tank with no substrate. second to that, i agree, you are a bad boy.

    I think it would look retro with no sand. A real conversation piece. :thumbup:

    Flow looks a bit hectic. Poor torch. Stunning tanks though.

    That torch has been in there for a few years and was a tiny frag when I got it. Now it is much larger and if I look closely, I can see him smiling.

    keep doing what you doing... obviously whatever you doing is working and has been working for a very long time.. tank is over 40 years old without any major changes along the way.. just improvements.. plenty reefers dont last that long.. or not even a year as they keep changing this or that due to certain "trends".. so yeah do what you doing regardless of whats labelled as right or wrong.
